Ampitheater, winter sports, scenic driving, and hiking/backpacking
Ampitheater- it is the most visited area of the park and most popular. It contains many of the most famous structures in the park. It is one of the most convenient areas to visit. It is by North and Sunset Campgrounds, the Bryce Canyon Lodge, and the general store. It is one of the series of "breaks" eroded into the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Major viewpoints are sunrise point, sunset point, inspiration point, and bryce point.
winter sports- Bryce Canyon has an elevation of 8,000 to 9,000 ft. so when it snows there are wonderful opportunities for winter sports like snowshoeing and cross country skiing- something you won't find in many other national parks. The snowshoe hike takes place at 9:30 am on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.The hike is one mile and takes about two hours. The rim trail is for both cross country skiing and snow shoeing.
Scenic Driving- Highway 63: it is 18 miles, it has many overlooks and trails on this road. It has great scenery and it leads to many trails and monuments
Hiking and Backing- There are many trails/ hikes to do on the Rim Trail, Fairy Land Loop, and Natural Wonders which have high elevation and great ranges like easy and hard. If you're in the mood for a more solitude experience do the backcountry trails which offers forests, meadows, stunning view of distant cliffs, plateaus and feeling of wilderness in this pristine landscape.
