Some of the many trails in Bryce Canyon
Mossy Cave Trail- the length of this hike is .9 miles the altitude climb is 300 ft. This hike follows the trial of a 1900 pioneer irrigation ditch, going from East fork of the Sevier River through Paunsaugunt Plateau. Mossy cave is located in the northern section of the park. It has a small waterfall and a wide diversity of nature and animals. This hike is excellent for children and senior citizens or others wanting to see to hoodoos up close but without having to hike long trails up and down steep slopes.
Scenic Rim Trail- The total distance of this hike is 5.5 miles and the climb is 1,754 ft. The trail is the only paved trail in the park, and it follows the entire rim of the main ampiheather. It is a fairly easy hike that offers views of many of the same landmarks from diametric viewpoints.
